2020 Tour de Tugaloo 11.06.2021

Join us for a benefit bicycle ride..... along the Historic Tugaloo River Corridor, Lake Hartwell and foothills of Western South Carolina. Proceeds benefit the Stephens County Foundation in support of the Tugaloo River Corridor and other community projects. We have had to make several changes to the planning, logistics and execution of the 2020 event. Kindly take a moment to read through the below to be familiar with these changes:... The event will be limited to 250 pre-registered participants. This year we will be offering the 22, 42 and 62 routes. Drive-thru check-in for the ride is open 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. There will be no mass start. You may begin to ride anytime between 8:30 AM - 10:15 AM. The course will be swept at 4:00 PM ALL SAG and event volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves. Measures will be taken at SAG stops to minimize contact with SAG amenities. The post ride meal will be provided on a "to-go" basis. Health and safety of all participants and volunteers is our top priority. The event is subject to cancellation as circumstances dictate. In the event the ride is cancelled, refunds will not be issued nor can a registration be applied to next years' event. The registration fee will be deemed a "donation" to the Stephens County Foundation (501-c3 non-profit entity) in support of the Historic Tugaloo Corridor, Tugaloo Bend Heritage Park and other community projects. As a courtesy to those who have registered by October 7th, we will send you your event shirt if the ride is cancelled. Despite these changes, some things have not changed. The less traveled roads, scenery and our warm and friendly support staff has remained the same. We hope that you will join us to ride the river! Register early to get the best deal and before the event sells out. We thank you in advance for your support and understanding during these challenging times. If you have questions, please contact us. Sincerely, The Tour de Tugaloo Team
