Transitions Counseling 16.11.2020

This may help parents at home with the kids feel a little less in chaos and more of a partner in their child’s development. Nice point of view most will find helpful and what seemed uncomfortable can then become fun and rewarding...

It’s been another day of social distancing. I hope you are using this time to connect with others. There are Skype, FaceTime and other video chat formats to reach out and connect with family and friends! Also besides TV, cable, and other providers, the internet allows connection to many streaming services like Netflix, Prime, YouTube, and others. May other services are giving 1 or more weeks of free intro time to their services. Many sites provide books to read. Most of the ...classics cn be found online free! There also many learning opportunities out that online too and many of them are free and low cost. Please don’t forget the owls time board games can be a nice break from video games! Pintrest and other sites have art and craft projects for all ages. Staying at a distance for others doesn’t prevent most of us from a walk outside and doing chores in the years. Getting vitamin D from the sun is great! I could probably got yack and ramble on, but don’t let you imagination go to sleep try something new every day, it doesn’t have to a big event, but new. Last while vegging out all day might not be a good idea, but a nap now and then isn’t a sin either. If you really need someone to talk to, I am here to talk securely online! Mark See more

I hope everyone is doing well! I wanted to let everyone know that for the next few weeks we won't be seeing anyone in the office. BUT, we will be available for secure video online therapy and counseling. We use a service called VSee Messenger, it has an app for phone and tablet, which can be downloaded free. It can also be accessed from a laptop. If you send me your email I will send you an email link/invite and then you can call, text or email for an online appointment. [email protected] 404-580-6684 Stay safe and wash those hands!

The Corona Virus raises some concerns for meeting. First, if you have and flue-like symptoms, test positive for the virus, or someone in your family does, please reschedule, be assured if I am ill I will not be seeing clients in the office face to face. Second, I am board certified in telementalhealth and use HIPPA approved secured online platform VSee so we can work together via tablet or laptop. Please stay safe and call with any questions or to schedule an online session. 404-580-6684

I am including a list of APPs made for the military that anyone can download and use. Most of these are suitable for anyone. There are a few that are VA specific. But most of these are for PTSD, stress, depression, anxiety, sleep, breathing to relax, etc. I hope you find them helpful. https://mobile.va.gov/appstore/veterans

Saw this on 60 Minutes. This may be a big game changer! It given relief as soon as the injection is given, like turning off a switch of the PTSD. It lasts for months and allow people to participate in therapy to make the changes last. The stories were amazing and seeing it happen was amazing.
