Trauma Resolution Is Unresolved Trauma keeping you stuck in feelings of emptiness, hopelessness, and isolation? Are you experiencing any of the following: nightmares/insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, grief, heartbreak, low self-esteem, relationship issues, anger/resentment, guilt, shame, self-destructive behavior, and/or PTSD? ... If you have been suffering in any of these ways, there is hope and help! When something is painful or disturbing, it slams into awareness and leaves a lasting impression. Even when the experience is finished, deeper parts of the mind may continue to respond as if the disturbing event is still occurring. When fueled by the ongoing influence of traumatic past events, resulting emotional problems, destructive behaviors, and relationship difficulties are impossible to overcome without first eliminating these "ghosts from the past." Even experiences that have been consciously forgotten can continue to exert a negative influence. This then affects emotions, thinking, relationships, behavior, and even health. In healing trauma, I primarily use Rapid Trauma Resolution (RTR) to facilitate just that - rapid resolution of and freedom from the effects of past trauma and PTSD. I also, if appropriate, utilize EMDR and/or hypnotherapy. How does RTR work? The subconscious controls emotions, desires, memory, habits, thoughts, dreams, and automatic response. One may consciously understand the value of eliminating problematic emotions, thoughts, or behaviors but unless the subconscious mind is reached, enduring change is unlikely. By engaging the subconscious mind and eliminating the ongoing influence from traumatic events, blocked energy is released, healing takes place, and change is automatic. Negative habits and painful emotions are replaced by positive actions and feelings of well being. Blocked energy is released. Healing takes place. Desired change is automatic and lasing. If you are ready to be free to experience life, health, and happiness, please contact me at 404-664-7223.
Counseling is, for me, about witnessing someone else's personal story and providing a safe place to experience the whole range of emotions. I provide a nurturing, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment in which to explore your issues, offering psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Rapid Trauma Resolution. As a CSAT, I specialize in behavioral and substance addictions, with particular expertise in sex, love, and relationship addiction. I further specialize in healing trauma, grief, and anxiety, serving adults, adolescents, and couples as well as the LGBT community. Together we will develop new strategies to help you deal with life's challenges so that you are better able to experience life's joys. Please contact me at 404-664-7223 if you would like to schedule an appointment or an assessment.
