Our TES January Educator of the Month is Mrs. Heidi Collins! She is dedicated to her students and grade level, and also a role model for how to be selfless and resilient. The students also have a lot of respect for Mrs. Collins and look up to her. Mrs. Collins helps to make TES a great school through her dedication, determination, faith, caring, and hard work. We need more super heroes like her. She cares for others more than for herself. Join us in congratulating Mrs. Collins!

The success of our REACH program would not be possible without our sponsors! A very special note of appreciation to Altamaha EMC, Treutlen County Schools staff members, Colony Bank, Bank of Soperton, and Trinity Church of God for their donations to the REACH program. We are very grateful for their continued supp...ort. REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) Georgia, is a needs-based mentoring and scholarship program designed to ensure Georgia's academically promising students with academic, social and financial support needed to graduate from high school and college prepared for work. Governor Nathan Deal launched REACH in 2012 and is Georgia's first public-private needs-based scholarship opportunity. REACH Scholar recipients must sign a contract committing to maintaining strong grades, remain drug and alcohol free, meet with their REACH mentor regularly, maintain good attendance and behavior, develop educational and career plans and graduate from high school. The REACH Coordinator recommends students for the REACH Program each fall, followed by a committee review.
