Key To A Long, Happy Marriage: I was talking to an older gentleman yesterday, and somehow the conversation drifted towards him being married for 32 years. He asked me if I wanted to know what the secret to a long, happy marriage is? Well of course the answer would be yes, and so he replied God and communication. I have meditated on these words for a day and half now, just really absorbing them and it came to me that this is the actual recipe for a long, happy marriage. With God, He will guide us on how to act with our spouses, He will teach us what selfless love looks like. Then in the times that we will fall short, a good line of communication will allow us to work through the difficult times as one flesh. #StayMarriedMyFriends #BoondockTeaching
