Thanks be to God!! After three months of complications the new sign is now up and running!! A new sign face will soon be added announcing the new name of Trinity at the Well denoting the coming together of the Trinity UMC and the Church at the Well UMC. Shout out to Mark Harris and the work he did on making this sign happen.

Did you know that there are over 700 homeless children in the Cartersville- Bartow area? Research shows that hungry children have poorer mental and physical health, suffer with more behavioral disorders and are less prepared to learn when they are in school. Hunger is an increasing epidemic in our county and most residents are unaware of this fact. Backpack Buddies provides children in Cartersville City and Bartow County schools from food-insecure homes with weekend meals du...ring the school year. The children receive a backpack containing nutritious, self-serve food that will sustain them when school meals are not available. The children are selected by school principals, guidance counselors, social workers and various after school programs who identify the at-risk child. This ministry is essential in helping to relieve hunger, which in turn will improve grades, health, school attendance and self-esteem in these children. Today over 200 back packs were prepared by volunteers and these sacks of food will be placed in the children’s back packs that will be distributed to the schools. Over 200 children will not be going to school hungry because of the generosity of all of those involved in making this ministry happen. A special thanks to the Church at the Well for inviting Trinity to be a part of this weekly ministry to the children in our community.

The new electronic sign has arrived and going up! The canopy, bricking and then wiring next! Over 17,000 cars pass the church each day. Fantastic outreach!
