2021 BASEBALL & SOFTBALL SIGNUPS The Trion Recreation Department announces sign-ups for the 2021 Baseball and Softball season. The Trion Rec. will associate with Dizzy Dean in baseball and GRPA in softball. Sign-ups will begin Monday, Jan. 25 and end on Saturday, Feb. 20. Ages are 5 through 12. September 1st is the age control date for all softball. The age control date for 5&6(Co-Ed), 7&8, 9&10 and 11&12 boys’ baseball is May 1st. Categories offered this year include 5&6 ...Farm League(co-ed) coach pitch, 7&8 Farm League Boys coach pitch, 7&8 Farm League Girls coach pitch, 9&10 Minor Boys live arm, 9&10 Minor Girls pitching machine, 11&12 Freshman Boys and 12U Live Arm Girls Softball. Tot-Ball, ages 3&4 will sign-up March 1st 13th . Participants will not be allowed to sign-up for softball/baseball if they have not returned Trion Recreation uniforms or equipment. For more information regarding age categories call the Trion Recreation Department and speak with Jeff or Rusty. The fees for the 2021 season are as follows: Trion City residents: No Fee Non-residents: $25.00 A birth certificate is required upon registration if there is not one on file at the Trion Recreation Department.

The Trion Recreation Department will be hosting a canned food drive. We will be accepting food donations until December 19th. If you would like to donate, our food bins are located in the lobby of our rec center. If you need assistance bringing in your non-perishable food items, a member of the Trion Rec staff will gladly meet you at your vehicle and pick those items up for you. *Parents with kids playing basketball, practices and games would be a great opportunity to bring your food donations in. Lets make sure members of our community aren't going hungry this holiday season.

We will be open Saturday for basketball practices.

Roper will be hosting a job fair at The Trion Recreation Department tomorrow, November 19th, from 10am-2pm.
