Bitter Sweet day for us as this is our last day.. The fire department will still be running calls on the beach and doing random patrols. It has been a great season even with all the stumbles along the way with restrictions and the amount of people we had on our beaches. One good thing for us during the offseason is it gives us time to look back and evaluate any changes we need to make to enhance our program. This year our traffic count from Memorial Day to Labor day was ...944,751 which made it our busiest season. We want to thank everyone that shared our page when we put any warnings and information out. Good afternoon Tybee, we will be flying red flags today and we do anticipate the water conditions to worsen over the weekend. Other big thing to remember is this will be our last weekend on the beach, our season officially ends this Sunday. We will be sending out some stats after Sunday.
