Just a reminder, our Annual Rotary Rabies Clinic will be happening this Saturday, June 5th! If you're able, please screen shot, print and complete the form below to help save time and allow the drive thru to move in a timely manner. Thanks in advance! The clinic will take place at Union County Primary School from 9am to 4pm and will be drive thru ONLY. We ask that you remain in your car, and have your pet in a carrier or on a leash.... We will NOT be hosting the clinic at Fire Station #3 (near Pappy's) this year in order to limit large gatherings and social distancing. Please scroll down and see our previous Rabies Clinic post for pricing. We will ONLY be accepting cash or check for payment. NO credit/debit cards will be accepted. If possible please bring exact change. We look forward to seeing you!
Our office will be closed Monday, May 31st in honor of Memorial Day. If you need immediate medical assistance please contact the Mountain Emergency Animal Center located in Blue Ridge, Georgia at 706-632-7879. As we remember the soldiers who lost their lives in service of our country, we also remember those who are actively serving and away from their families. ... We will resume regular business hours Tuesday, June 1st. Have a safe and Happy Memorial Day.
Does anyone recognize this beautiful face? This young man was hit by a car in Young Harris in front of the Sunoco station last night. The driver kept going, but... a great client of ours saw it occur and picked him up and brought him to us. He has a terrible fracture / luxation to his left forelimb that needs treatment. We're taking care of him currently, but we'd like to find his family. Please let us know if you have any information. See more
The Do’s and Don’ts of wearing your mask. We can’t take credit for this adorable photo, but this pup demonstrates how to wear your mask correctly.
Leilani is weighing Sparkalene, a 33 year old turtle. She’s being treated today for Pneumonia and a UTI. After a full exam, Dr. Kenney is sending her home with some medication, and should she should be feeling better very soon.
Big shout out to this cutie for being such a champ while waiting on a nail trim. We had 3 emergencies around her appointment time, and little Miss Lulu waited SO patiently.
