ICYMI: Dr. Erin Lipp and members of her lab (graduate students Megan Lott, Megan Robertson, and William Norfolk) have developed a method to monitor levels of COVID-19 cases within Athens using wastewater samples, giving us a glimpse into the health of the community. The results are being uploaded into the COVID-19 tracker presented by the UGA Center for the Ecology of Infection Diseases (CEID). See below to learn more about this incredibly important project!
