Dooly 4-Hers Competed at Southwest District Project Achievement Two Dooly County 4-Hers attend Jr. /Sr. Southwest District Project Achievement the weekend of June 4 -5, 2021 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton. Elijah Wade participated in the Piano Project placed 3rd ... Jemari Sanders participated in the Sports Project placed 2nd. This competition include over 400 competitors in grades 7th-12th that competed in Southwest District Jr/Sr. DPA from 41 counties throughout Southwest Georgia. Attending DPA with the 4-H’ers was County 4-H leader Mr. Quadarius Hardy Dooly County Extension/4-H is proud of all the 4-Hers and their hard work. Dear Dooly County Community: The Dooly County Recreation Dept. has made the decision to cancel the 2021 basketball season due to the recent spike in Covid 19 in... Dooly County. Every other county in the Flint River League has cancelled their season as well and there will be no league to play in this season. Also, with the news about the school system going back 100% virtual starting today due to Covid 19, we think this is in the best interest for our kids and their families in the community to stay safe. Please understand that the safety of our kids, parents, and DCRD staff is our highest priority. We hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday season. Thanks, DCRD Staff.
