I know we were quiet last week, it was busy as we had a couple students defended their graduate degrees. Ms. Kristin Pisani successfully completed her Master’s degree and Robert McKee completed his PhD. This week we have a good selection of both pork and beef. We have chops, ribs, regular brats, beer brats and a few Boston butts. Beef we have ribeyes, roasts, tri-tip, brisket, bacon burgers, cube steak, and we will also have Dino ribs. Dino ribs are the plate short ribs (3-4 ribs) and are a great alternative to brisket.

All, the lamb is already sold out for today. We should have more available next Friday.

Just for proof the lamb is cut and ready for Friday. It is first come, first serve. There were only 3 lambs that come through so it won't last long. Available this Friday at 10 am. Edit: Just found out we will have additional lamb coming through for next week and possibly the week after, so if you don't get any this week there will be a few more opportunities!

The shop will be open for regular hours tomorrow. We still only have pork and sausages, but there should be plenty to pick from to kick off the first home game of the year! We will have lamb next week (Oct 9), but we only had 3 come in, so it definitely won’t last long.

We know it has been a crazy summer and a very different start to the fall semester, but we want to welcome our students back to campus and class. We are open today for in store shopping. We have wipes available and are regularly wiping down surfaces. Please remember to wear your mask, as required by UGA, while in the building and try to maintain proper distancing. Right now we are only taking credit card/debit card (except Discover). We are still out of beef, but have plenty of pork options.

EDIT NOTICE: Since we are opening as normal this Friday we are No Longer taking email or preorders. We are only doing business as normal. We understand the interest in doing preorder, but with the limited time and labor we can only do in store. Thank you. Hello everyone. We will reopen for normal retail hours and operations this Friday, August 7th. The store will be open from 10:00am-4:30pm, and you will be able to come inside to purchase what you like. We will continue to... accept credit and debit card only at this time (no Discover). MASKS ARE REQUIRED. This is mandated by UGA. At times, if needed we may need to limit the number of people in the shop at one time. We will be wiping down surfaces and door handles throughout the hours of retail. Inventory- we have plenty of pork cuts, sausages, and smoked items. Currently we are out of beef, including ground beef and hamburger patties. For a returning FYI, we are attaching a list of what is available. We have plenty of what is on the list. However--since we are starting this back up as normal operations, in the future we will not be providing weekly inventory levels as we did before. This is just a reminder that we are currently closed for some down time and to try and restock. We are hoping to be back open sometime in August, hopefully for regular shopping on Fridays.
