2020 UGA Summer Music Camp is underway.....ONLINE! HHSOM piano faculty and camp faculty are working hard for a great experience for the piano students. This year’s camp students range from 8th-12th grade and hail from all over the state. Exciting offerings for piano campers, including a session on the Toy Piano, playing collaborative piano in the age of social distancing, master classes, and more! The University of Georgia Summer Music Camp Online is a four-day musical experience that offers students a place to grow musically in a fun and exciting online learning environment. Modified from the traditional in-person camp, each student will have the opportunity to atten...d daily instrument specific masterclasses under the direction of the acclaimed faculty of UGA's Hugh Hodgson School of Music and daily academic classes such as musicianship for middle school students and various elective choices for high school students. Additionally, it is possible to register for an optional 60-minute private lesson. We regret to share that the masterclass with Roberto Plano planned for this Saturday in collaboration with the Chopin Society of Atlanta has been CANCELED due to the artist's inability to travel.
