It's the most wonderful time of the year Jade Swain, freshman at Commerce High School, donated 25 gift baskets for patients who are receiving chemotherapy at UCBC Jade wanted to do something kind for people this holiday season, especially considering how difficult this year has been for so many people. The baskets contain books, coloring books, crossword puzzles, bottled water, and other comfort items. Thank you, Jade! #UCBCStrong

According to the American Cancer Society, when breast cancer is detected early, and is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. Early detection includes doing monthly breast self-exams, and scheduling regular clinical breast exams and mammograms #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #EarlyScreening
