2 months ago Uptime Electric was owned by partners, one black, one white. They do a great service to Atlanta and have a big presence in South Atlanta and the airport. The black partner passed away. I know the owner and during an ice storm several years ago, my neighborhood lost power for several days. The power to our area could not be restored until the service wires, that were downed by ice and trees, were repaired. I called Uptime, and a truck was sent to our area. They fixed not just one residence, but several, and power was able to be restored later that day. And to make the situation better, not one person was sent a bill. Zero dollars, all of this done by the goodness of the person in charge of Uptime Electric. Philip Claborn
