O N E M I L L I O N The University of West Georgia recently concluded its annual A Day to Give West known as A Day campaign, notching more than $1 milli...on in gifts to support the university’s annual fund. The $1,000,496 raised will support scholarships, enhancements to campus, laboratory equipment, recreational activities, and other initiatives and programs. Our Homecoming at Home celebrations continue today at noon with an interview of Dr. Michael Hester '93 by Ashley Moore, a senior mass communications major. Join us as Dr. Hester discusses his new book "Winning Political Debates: Proven Techniques for Success," co-authored by Randy Evans '80 with a foreword by Newt Gingrich. In the interview, Dr. Hester provides tips on debating and communicating persuasively and explains how the UWG Debate Team changed his life. You don't want to miss this!
