We are faced with a pandemic that I'm sure not many of us thought we would ever experience in our lifetime; we must remain calm, hopeful, and in prayer. Fear can lower our immune system. We attract those things that we focus our energy on. I will say that it is difficult not to adopt some form of fear because this pandemic is not controlled. To replace fear with faith, we must use wisdom. It's okay to watch the news, but not ALL day and ALL night. Find out what's going on... and turn it off. Let your conversations be on something OTHER THAN the Coronavirus. Make sure to keep in touch with your family and friends and keep one another encouraged and share your tips on how to stay positive, productive and healthy. For those that are staying home (not going to work or school) remain productive, try to eat as healthy as possible, drink water, herbal teas, and exercise. There are many things that you can still do from home and outside your home to keep you "sane" and not focused on fear. For those that can work from home -enjoy the opportunity. In the spare time that you may have study and practice your trades. Learn new skills/trades, read, exercise, meditate, watch movies, play games, have dinner and pray with your household (family and friends) Get out of your pajamas - do not stay in them ALL day and comb your hair. Lol. If you are not sick, do not act like it. Open your windows and get some fresh air- if it's warm enough where you live. For those that rather make jokes and ignore the suggested methods to help reduce the risk of catching or spreading the virus, consider your family and friends and those that have lost loved ones to the virus and take heed and use wisdom. For anyone that has contracted the virus, or if you have a loved one that has, I will keep you lifted in prayer.
