*** NEW GATE ENTRY PROCEDURES ADVISORY *** To help prevent the potential spread of #Coronavirus (#COVID19) Fort Gordon changed entrance procedures at all gates.... Unless prompted otherwise, or if the card scanner is not available, entrants to the post will no longer hand over their IDs to the gate guards, and will instead display the fronts and backs of their cards while maintaining positive control of their IDs. Entrance procedure: 1. Approach the gate prepared to present the appropriate ID. 2. When stopped by the gate guard display the front of the card without obscuring any vital information such as your name or expiration date. 3. While you are still holding the card flip it over to its back, again being careful to not obscure information. 4. Proceed through the gate when directed. We appreciate your patience as we take this and other precaution to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
