HE HAS BEEN RESCUED! People this is NOT ok!! We have operating hours 8-5 m-f !! Theres zero sense in tieing a dog up to our fence and leaving them there!!this fella was left chained to the gate with a 3ft cable.

Due to this virus outbreak we will be minimizing our exposure to the community for the next 2 weeks or so. So please bare with us as we are only doing emergency or aggression pick ups. Everyone stay safe wash your hands and minimize your exposure in public as much as possible!! PSA we are still not taking cats or kittens as we do not have a facility for them so PLEASE do not dump them at our gate as kitten season approaches!!

HES BEEN ADOPTED!! He is still here. We had several people who were supposed to come get him but did not show up. Hes already neutered and fully vaccinated. $20 adoption fee. He is a big cat,super sweet.

Big thank you to the Greatergood.org for the donations of cots,collars,leashes,blankets,flea medication,food bowls,dog houses and Kong toys to our shelter dogs! These will make there life in the shelter much more easier!

Thank you to Southern choices day center for coming out to vidalia animal control and spending time with our dogs and walking them. They really enjoyed it!

Update on our skinny fella I posted last week. Its amazing what a weeks worth of food will do for a dog. Hes such a sweet soul!

I dont understand HOW someone can own a dog,have it chained up outdoors in this condition and not feel some type of pitty in themselves to feed it. Today was this guys lucky day. He was saved from what was sure to be his death sentence. We have a long way to go but we will do what we can to get him back 100%. The chain weighed more then the dog. Hes covered in fleas so bad I dont see how hes survived as long as he did. If you can look at this pitiful soul every single day and... still refuse to feed it you sir/ma'am are messed up in the head!! Sad part is I'm sure this sweet baby was happy to see the person who would not feed it every single day with unconditional love. Look for updates as I will post weekly. Say a prayer for this sweet guy that we can pull him thru it. We've had worse cases we done a 360 turn around on so we have the same hope for this guy See more
