The Charles Heinz Memorial Sponsorship is an opportunity to express appreciation for Charles Heinz’ dedication to the Vinings Downhill 5K race through a monetar...y donation of any size. All contributions to the Charles Heinz Memorial Sponsorship will be given to the selected charity recipients our Rotary Club and Charles supported through his 23-year effort in developing and leading The Vining’s Downhill 5K Run for the Kids. Contributions to this sponsorship are tax deductible. This year’s Vinings Down Hill 5K race is still on... just virtually. PLEASE register for the race and share this post. The local charities that benefit from the funds raised from the race need them more than ever to serve our neighbors in great need! Join us for our first virtual run for the kids!

At the present time, The Vinings Down Hill 5K Run For The Kids is scheduled to be a VIRTUAL race on Saturday, August 8 & 9, 2020 with registration opening on Active.com soon. At the present time, the Vinings Downhill 5K Run for the Kids is still scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2020. Registration will now open June 19th. This year we will also host a virtual race. The virtual race will be held even if we run the physical race as well. This option will be open to anyone who doesn't feel ready for crowds in August.
