Last week, we collaborated on a Design Sprint in Smithfield Virginia. We set up camp at the Barn at Aberdeen Farm where we created master plans, interviewed old corporate patriarchs, and memorialized the creative process. Tight team. Robust pre-work. Focused collab. Yields great outcomes. Better than I expected.

Glenwood Park, home of Vista since 2009, is a charming hamlet along the BeltLine with a small business node. Our offices overlook Brasfield Square where our community tree luminares a pocket park. Also, it’s a terminating vista once you drive into the neighborhood. Adding charm and interest. Good community design seasons with time. Happy holidays all.

What a gathering of artists from GA!

Visions are big ideas and great ambitions that often have humble beginnings. The Vista team created a media gathering back in 2016 to help announce Pinewood Forest. Visionary @dantcathy was determined to make a big difference in his backyard of Fayetteville GA. Starting with the blockbuster Pinewood Studios across the street, Pinewood Forest was conceived to be a town for creatives and makers. Town planner @lewoliver_inc shared his conceptual master plan as the media express...ed their interest. This event, held in a humble meadow, was the first imprint on land that has been developed into one of the most interesting communities anywhere. With tenacity, generosity of spirit, smart planning, good intentions and lots of capability, this vision is unfolding daily.
