Mr. Brown was born August 4, 1945 in Lumber City, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late William Brown and Bertha Jump Brown, a brother, W.L. Brown and three sisters, Lorene Walker, Edna Harrell and Joyce Harris. He was retired from the shipping department at Husqvarna Outdoor Products. Miss Borkenhagen was born September 11, 1928 in Cordele Georgia: she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Albert J. Borkenhagen and Lelia Mae Dawson Borkenhagen, a brother, Charles Borkenhagen and a sister, Albertina McLeod. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from ERO after 38 years as an office assistant. Mr. Nicholas (Nick) Dile, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. Mr. Dile was born in Fort Worth Texas, but had resided in Hazlehurst for the past seven and a half years. He was employed with Precision Products and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Nick was a caring and loving person, had the biggest Heart, willing to help anyone that had a problem, he never met a stranger and could hold a conversation with anyone. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.... Mrs. Truluck, was born February 4, 1960 in Baxley, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Bobby Covington and Melba Clark Martin, her step-father, who raised her and who she referred to as ‘daddy, Merle Martin and a sister, Linda Marlene Walls. She was formerly employed by Baxley Veneer and Cleat Company and as a housekeeper at Best Weste...rn. She was of the Holiness faith. Thomas Matthew Dylan Greene, age 21, of Baxley, died Monday, November 16, 2020. Mr. Greene was born February 26, 1999 in Wayne County. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Marion Greene III, grandparents, Pearl and Edward Evans and Thomas and Lorena Greene. Matthew was quick witted and could easily make anyone laugh. He had a kind heart and soul. Matthew was talented at drawing and barber skills. He enjoyed the beach and playing the guitar. He loved his family, they... were proud that he was theirs and he will be sadly missed. She was a graduate of Andrew & Wesleyan Colleges, Member of United Methodist Women, only female founding member of Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis Chamber of Commerce, member of Retired Teachers, ...Friends of the Library, Christian Ladies Fellowship, League of Women Voters, Chamber of Commerce Director’s Award named after Jane Baggett, the owner and operator of the family business for many years, known as Wallace’s and a Lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Hazlehurst. Mr. Googe was born November 25, 1935 in Hazlehurst, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Googe and Mary Hester Googe, a son, Robert Edward Googe, a brother, Samuel Edward Googe and a sister, Marguerite Googe, He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and taught the Adult Sunday School Class at various churches for over 37 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and ...the Vietnam War before retiring as a Master Sergeant from the United States Marine Corp. He also served as a drill instructor at Parris Island. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanice and Lucille Hall Carter. In heaven awaited her husband of 47 years, Clinton Rollins Jr., a son, Jerry Rollins and other loved ones there to welcome her home. Mrs. Rollins had battled the struggles in life with health complications. She was taken to Jeff Davi...s Hospital where she was called home to be with her savior and family. He was loved by many and he touched so many lives. Though he was small in stature his reach of love and affection affected everyone he came in contact with.
