Here at 1-50 Infantry OSUT, Echo Company continues to dominate in the fitness arena. Friends and family, contraband that is sent in the mail, hidden inside of what would be authorized items, is not allowed. For instance, hiding a vape pen inside of a re-sealed bottle of protein powder could, and has, resulted in administrative action taken against trainees. Assisting trainees in smuggling unauthorized items can also result in the loss of various privileges such as being able to call home on the weekend. Please discontinue concealing contraband inside of autho...rized items if you happen to be one of the community members that has been doing so, that way your soldier can complete their training without further interruptions. Nutrition bars, 100% whey protein, hygiene products, and comfort items such as small pictures are allowed. Items not authorized include: vape pens, tobacco products (of any kind), alcohol, beef jerky or other food items, magazines, pornography, and/or electrical devices to include iPods or cellphones.

War Eagle company's very own Pvt. Feliciano was just featured by the 198th Infantry Training Brigade. Pvt. Feliciano joined to fight for his country, and to create opportunity and a successful lifestyle for himself. He did 21 Leg Tucks and he shot 40/40. Phew! Strides to excellence. War Eagles.

Hello families, friends and supporters of War Eagle Company. We hope that the holiday spirit is well and with you as Halloween approaches and that you all have a safe and spooky season with your loved ones. We want to remind the community that trainees are not authorized to receive contraband in the mail. A lot of you are sending items that are not allowed. Sending unauthorized material clogs up our mail room, and creates more work for the trainees and our staff to dispose of. For example: do not send FOOD. Of any kind. We already provide free chow three times a day so that no one misses a meal. We appreciate your understanding.
