The Senior Center held a social distancing Fall Festival today for the participants. There was a cake walk and multiple games: Fish Finder, Cornhole, Pumpkin Ring Toss, Grab Apple, Spray Away, and Ghost Toss. Several vendors set up as well for client's shopping pleasure: Liz's Sinful Delights, Barb's $5 Jewelry, and D'z Skins. A big thanks to the vendors, and all the wonderful volunteers that gave of themselves and their time to help make the event a success! Soccer Parents Coaches picked up soccer rosters today. First practice will be Monday at 6. You should receive a call from your coach over the next couple of days. If you have not heard from a coach by Friday please let us know. Thanks

Parents who signed up participants for Flag Football!!!! We are meeting with coaches tomorrow. Practices will start this Thursday 10/8/20. Coaches will receive their rosters at the coaches meeting tomorrow. A coach will contact you and let you know about practice. Practices and games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices will start at 6pm and game times may vary. WCRD

Parents who signed up participants for Fall Soccer!!!!! We are planning to play Soccer. Coaches are picking up their rosters tomorrow and will be in contact about practices starting this Wednesday 10/7/20. Practice and Game days will be Mondays and Wednesdays. WCRD

Due to lack of participation we will be refunding participants who signed up for Rec Soccer this season. We are moving forward with flag football with the following adjustment. Ages (5-7) will play together as well as ages (8-10). If you registered for Soccer but would like to switch to flag football. Please notify the park by calling (478) 552-0013. The difference in registration cost will be collected on the first day of flag football practice. Registration for flag... football is $40. All participants must let the WCRD know by 12:00pm on Monday if they are wanting to move from soccer to play flag football. Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00. First practice will most likely be next Thursday 10/8/20. If you are registered you will get a call from a coach at the beginning of next week. Thanks WCRD

The Senior Center is getting ready for FALL! Missing our clients, but hosting virtual programs weekly until we are authorized to re-open. We hosted two summer Farmer's markets and plan to have a small open-air Fall Festival.

WCRD is introducing Flag Football this fall. This program is for ages 5-12. Age divisions will be as follows: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Age Control Date is 9/1/20. Registration Cost is $40. Registration will be ONLINE ONLY starting September 8- September 29. Participants will need shorts/pants with no pockets and cleats are optional. WCRD will provide jersey and flags.
