They invite the ladies to meet Charley's wealthy aunt from Brazil, "where the nuts come from". Canceling her visit at the last minute, the millionaire aunt sends the boys into cataclysmic confusion. What do they do now? The problem is solved by drafting their feckless Oxford undergrad pal, Lord Fancourt "Babbs" Babberley, into a black satin skirt, bloomers and wig. As "Charley's Aunt", this charming frump is introduced to the ladies, to Jack's father and to Stephen Spettigue, Amy's guardian. Lydia is a 12-year veteran of our Summer Drama Camp program and has been involved in some way in nearly every production over the years, including co-directing Children's playhouse the past two years. After working hard for two weeks learning theatre skills and rehearsing their own productions, our drama campers will show us what they've learned! Join us from the comfort and safety of your own home as we broadcast the performance LIVE for the first time ever! This year's camp and performances are very different because of the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Due to this, we are only having ONE performance on July 18th ONLY. Additionally, this performance is only open to in-pers...on attendance by students' families.
