Ever since traveling to the DR myself, I have felt called to continue to support the ministry and the incredible work it does. The Water@Work team has a deep passion for being the hands and feet of God, and I feel honored to play a role in providing clean water and the Gospel to those in need. By incorporating giving into my monthly budget, I am able to bless others just as I have been blessed. - Anne Reneslacis (new Fountain member) #monthlygiving #donorsrock #makeadifferencetoday #wateratworkministry #domoregood #bethechurch #cleanwaterforall
Time to CELEBRATE! Our newest water plant is opening in Fondo Negro after months of delay due to Covid. This new community will finally have affordable, clean water. Thank you to #rotaryinternational for funding the majority of this project. https://youtu.be/zvxGAYoTWgE
It’s my 3 year work anniversary! I love this ministry so much. Thank you for making all of this possible! #wateratworkministry #celebrate #workanniversary #thankyoudonors #domoregood
Could not be more excited that this extraordinary place will be the location of our next water plant project!! Details coming this fall
There is still much to be done to improve the water situation in the Dominican Republic. Far too many people have no access to clean water and cannot afford to pay for it. We are hopeful that the future will be better, but cannot wait and allow people to suffer while the government tries to solve the problem. Sometimes (often times?) NGOs are just better at getting the work done. Thank you for being the fuel that keeps us going and for blessing so many people with clean, safe water every time you give a gift!
Work is getting started on the foundation for the new water plant at Brisas del Mar! Thank you Cresswind Community and Eastern Dominican Christian Mission for providing the funds for this project!
Welcome to Water Wednesdays! Do you have a testimony to share? We would love to highlight some videos of our donors telling us why you partner with #wateratworkministry.
An update from the Dominican Republic from our director general. 5pm-5am curfews due to Covid still make it difficult for our team to travel between sites, but they’re getting the job done for #wateratworkministry. Getting #cleanwaterforall!
YOU helped W@W not only survive, but thrive in 2020. Your incredible financial support is truly bringing life to thousands in the DR. Thank you! #wateratworkministry #cleanwaterforall
Every bottle YOU help #wateratworkministry purchase gets sanitized and refilled before being distributed back to the community. It’s clean for our people and it’s green for our planet. Without your sustaining support, this wouldn’t be possible. Thank you! #cleanwater
2020 for W@W meant: trusting in God’s provision, pivoting to virtual events, getting comfortable with Zoom meetings, Covid curfews and lockdowns in the DR, asking for help, welcoming new volunteers, being ok with delayed projects, and exceeding our goals. We couldn’t have done it without God’s Grace and YOUR continued support. Thank you! #wateratworkministry #cleanwater
We are excited to be adding a new missionary-engineer to our team in the DR this spring! Get to know Devan Hailey on our most recent blog post and look forward to direct updates from him once he's in the field. Interested in supporting him directly? You can donate in the link in the comments.
We’ve received contributions from donors who have used CharityVest. Read about the benefits below! December is a great time for stock-ings.
Did you know you can purchase handmade amber and larimar jewelry as well as metal Christmas ornaments from the W@W store? That's right! Your purchases support our local artisan partner in the DR as well as our water ministry. https://www.wateratworkstore.org/ #cleanwater #wateratworkministry #dominicanrepublic #charity
Stuffing year-end letters is a family affair!
Happy birthday to our one and only Rosemery Vilorio! Did you know Rosemery is a dentist?! Upon graduation from dental school she came on board as W@W’s community development coordinator while still working at local dental clinics. She spreads goodness wherever she goes and we are so blessed to have her as such an important part of our ministry! Happy birthday!
The words THANK YOU can't express the depth of our gratitude. Our total currently stands at $12,885. WIth the $10,000 match, that gives us $22,385. This is a 500% increase from our Giving Tuesday last year! We are so grateful for your generosity. "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered." -Proverbs 11:25 #wateratworkministry #cleanwater #dominicanrepublic #charity #givingtuesday2020
