We're proud to announce the new Wellstar Paulding Urgent Care, opening Feb. 8 at 120 Greystone Power Boulevard. This new location will offer convenient care for minor emergencies, illnesses and injuries, including laboratory and x-ray services. We'll also be offering both the Rapid and PCR COVID tests. COVID-19 testing is by appointment only. Note: Walk-ins with acute, urgent medical needs have immediate care prioritization, which may impact your COVID testing time.

Hope is here! Yesterday was a historic day for Wellstar Health System, as we began to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to our healthcare heroes. The team members... to receive the first round of voluntary vaccines fight tirelessly on the frontlines of the pandemic in the units and departments providing compassionate care for those hardest-hit by the virus. Every day, I work with some of our sickest COVID-19 patients, said Amanda Earley, an ICU critical care nurse at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital who received the very first dose in Cobb County. "I am hopeful that people will have the same confidence I have in this vaccine so we can all move past this pandemic. Across the US, we have begun Phase 1 of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out.
