Today we celebrated Mrs. Leslie Robinsons' 100th Birthday!! Her Children and Grandchildren sent her birthday Wishes!! She was also the 2019 Mrs. Westbury Pageant Winner!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I’m An Essential Piece of the Puzzle has been our theme for Employee Appreciation Week! Today our employees enjoyed Sweet Italian Ice, Ice Cream snd Sweets from Pearlys Sweet Ice! We met Shirley Smith, the owner a few years ago on the set of GREENLEAF and she has become a favorite! Our employees practiced social distancing while being served outside!

CALLING ALL EMPLOYEES! Now is the time to get your free flu shot!! Every employee receiving the flu vaccine will be entered into a drawing to win this spectacular 'FLU SURVIVAL' Basket put together by our very own Director of Nursing, Mary Thomas! Brenda Edwards, from the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation receiving a check from Kathy Nicholas/Activity Director, from monies collected during a fundraiser in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Chance Atkins Foundation is a non-profit that raises funds to provide free mammograms for those with no insurance. They also have "Kims Closet" at Piedmont Rockdale that provide free wigs, hats and scarfs for all cancer patients, and survivors going through treatments. Please Support Breast Cancer Awareness!

Our Employees Are Essential! Today marks the beginning of Employee Appreciation Week! Our Employees have been with us since the beginning of this pandemic and even though it ain’t over yet....they have stuck with us and it is time to celebrate! They put their own lives at risk, as well as the safety of their own families by coming to work! They have loved on our residents and been family to them in the absence of visits from their loved ones! Lorie and Maria are here today passing out brand new I Am An Essential Piece of the Puzzle t-shirts and Covid-19 Survival Kits and will continue throughout the week! We have tons of special events planned for you this week!
