It is not enough to simply change your profile picture or start a conversation. This is where I will be this evening, supporting the initiative of our youth. They need our support now more than ever. Hope to see you there. Harriet Tubman Museum. 5pm

The city recorded 26 murders in 2019. It’s taken fewer than five months to reach 27 in 2020. These are not the kind of records we should be breaking. (If guilty)This young man has thrown away his whole life at only 23 years old. At 23 he should be a student, in the military, owning a business, learning a trade.. anything but a murderer. I am deeply hurt by these persistent killings. Again, these young men feel that they have nothing to loose. It starts from childhood. I h...ave said many times that our young black men are under constant stress from the time they are young boys. They are oftentimes constantly bombarded with stress. Stress at home, stress at school, stress of responsibility, the of stress of survival. We MUST provide recreation. We MUST provide mentorship. We MUST provide opportunities for our youth or we will continue to see the violent crime. I have written and implemented proven successful programs to combat crime and provide stability for our young people. VOTE WHITFIELD to 1. Rebuild our city, generate revenue for economic development 2. Create jobs and opportunities for our citizens 3. Protect our small businesses ( Again, I am the only candidate who has a degree in business). 4. Retrain the minds of our youth to have respect for human life, respect for authority and most importantly respect for themselves. #WHITFIELDTOREBUILD https://www.13wmaz.com//93-e371646b-996a-42d2-9e07-4ba2f12

Good Morning. This article was brought to my attention by my staff. Although I am not sure why I was not a part of the interview, my words and actions have ser...ved as my "reaction". However, I want to discus the role of LEADERSHIP. Leaders who care about the community encourage and support the young people who seek change in the community. Leaders who care about the community address the ROOT issues of the community which are mental health, youth un-productivity and lack, and anyone who would disagree with that does not truly understand the needs of this city. Our youth, children, are crying out for love, peace, stability and recognition of achievement. We can and must provide our youth with these necessities or we will continue to see violent crime, youth un-productivity, truancy, and poverty. These issues have plagued our communities for generations. Leaders who care about the community do not need to be invited to discuss the issues and concerns of the people. No one invited me to write the Workforce Development Program, which provided thousands of job opportunities for the people of Macon-Bibb. I saw the need and I provided a solution. No one invited me to be an integral part of implementing the Police Activity League (PAL), which significantly reduced crime in Macon. I saw the need and was part of a team that provided a solution. No one invited me to be active in the community, which led to my discovery of disparities in access to health care in our community and led to my involvement with First Choice Primary Care Board from its genesis in 2006. No one invited me to become a youth mentor, coach and community advocate over 25 years ago, I saw the need and I provided a solution. We MUST elect a Mayor that provides SOLUTIONS to the NEEDS of the PEOPLE. Also, you can see my reaction to the homicides in Macon-Bibb on my timeline yesterday morning, prior to the article. God Bless. https://wgxa.tv//macon-bibb-mayoral-candidates-react-to-re
