Who else is ready for warmer weather that's hopefully right around the corner? The WWS Stingrays are preparing for another exciting swim team season and registration is now open! Swim team is open to boys and girls age 4-18. We are excited to be offering Starfish Club again this year, a pre-team option for little ones age 4-6 as a way to familiarize them with swimming basics, but without the commitment of swimming in weekly meets. ... Afternoon practice begins Monday, May 11 and will switch to morning practice on Tuesday, May 26. Starfish meet 3 days a week (M/T/TH) from 11-11:30 and Stingrays practice M-Th in 45 min sessions by age group from 8-11:30. This season's meets will be held on Thursday evenings beginning May 28 and culminating in the championship meet at Georgia Tech the last weekend in June. Our inaugural season of Adult Swim team was quite a success and we are thrilled to be able to offer this option for swimmers age 19 and over again this year! Grab some friends and join for fitness or to participate in the semi-competitive adult meets held throughout Atlanta over the summer. If your family participated in swim team last year, look for an email with this season's details and registration link. ~WWS BABYSITTER TRAINING~ WHEN: Sunday, March 8th, 2-4 PM WHERE: WWS Clubhouse Vernalisa Rougeux will be leading an informative session for all neighborhood babysitters. Vernalisa is CCEI (childcare education institute) trained and certified in health and safety, disease control and containment. She is also CPR certified for infants to adults. She teaches and leads the performing arts program at the preschool, Building Kidz. She is a mother of twin girls and previously nannie...d long-term for families with children under 8. Please come join us if you are interested in furthering your childcare knowledge as you care for our very precious little ones! Parents are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. Update: WWS Wildwood West Party! DATE CHANGE - March 28, 2020 The original date of 3/21/20 is also the night of RHS prom and Roswell Beer Festival, so we have rescheduled to 3/28/20. We hope this will allow for more people to join in on the Western fun!
