Azure Functions are Microsoft’s serverless solution, providing an event-driven programming model that simplifies developing APIs and integrations. Going serverless helps get developers out of the business of having to configuring, maintaining, and scaling servers while also improving application development agility. https://okt.to/IiStBW

Join us Thursday, October 1st for our live virtual event, "GitHub and Azure DevOps Better Together." With Microsoft acquiring GitHub, many teams struggle to understand whether to adopt GitHub or Azure DevOps, especially if there’s already an investment in Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server (TFS). But, there is a third option that is often overlooked the platforms are better together! Join Ken Muse, an ALM | DevOps Ranger, to learn how to deliver value faster and with better quality by combining the complementary features of Azure DevOps and GitHub. In this session, Ken will discuss how to use the products together to strengthen the overall DevOps practice, including improving package security, linking work items to source control, backlog/sprint planning, and release management.. https://okt.to/W9I0GV

On Azure, there are two primary ways to get NFS as a service. The first one is through Azure NetApp Files, a service that was built with a partnership between NetApp and Microsoft to provide file shares as a service for large data sets. The other implementation is for less performant, but highly scalable workloads on Azure Blob Storage. Before Microsoft added this feature, mounting Blob Storage as part of a file system was only possible through Blobfuse. This approach is still valid for some use cases, but NFS allows for protocol-level access to blob storage, so any NFS client can mount Blob Storage as part of the client’s file system, including Windows, now that it has an NFS client. https://okt.to/4dG3ix

Join us Thursday, September 17th, for our live Virtual Event, "Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Storage." Kubernetes can integrate with several storage options available on Azure, including Azure Files, Blob Storage, and Azure Disks from Microsoft, as well as other options from third-party vendors like NetApp. In this webinar, Blaize will show you the options available to Kubernetes, how to use them, and when to use them so you can choose the right storage option for your apps on Azure Kubernetes Services. https://okt.to/hd5LZe #AKS #Kubernetes #AzureKubernetesService

Securing an Azure App Service is a common requirement. If you're not familiar with Front Door, it combines a web application firewall (WAF), content distribution network (CDN), traffic manager, and routing rules into a single service. This makes it a perfect choice for protecting a web site. In using this, we want to ensure that traffic only arrives from Front Door rather than directly accessing the App Service. While most parts of setting up Front Door are deliberately easy, limiting the network traffic currently requires manual effort. https://okt.to/eGC73t
