Tonight we pray for the momma who needs patience. Lord, it’s all just too much right now. She is trying to be kind and loving and understanding, but she is find...ing herself needing a break or a breath or just a pause to regather herself. She knows her family needs peace. She knows there is stress in her home and in the world and she wants to react to her family with patience. Give her an extra measure of grace. We ask in Jesus’s name, Amen. Feeling anxious? On this weekend before the election I thought this prayer was worth posting as a means of encouraging your own prayers for our nation at this critical time. Your Word is forever settled in heaven. You have said so, and Jesus said not one jot or tittle will pass away until all is fulfilled. Lord God, You are true, You are trustworthy. Your Word stands.

Tonight we pray for the momma who feels a little bit of everything. Lord, she may feel tired, discouraged, or worn-thin. She might feel overwhelmed or sad from ...missing her family, friends, and routine. Hope may come in waves or perhaps fear rests just beneath the surface of her busy mind. Lord, she is doing the best she can to sort through what needs to be done and her feelings one by one. Tonight we ask You to bring what her heart needs. If it’s peace, You promise it. Tonight we pray for the momma who can be hard on herself. Lord, at night when her children are asleep and the house is quiet, she often replays her day. She thi...nks of what she said or did that she wishes she could change. And sometimes she just feels discouraged. Lord, this momma is a good mom, but it’s not always easy for her to believe it. Tonight, help her move past this day. Help her forgive herself of every shortcoming because You already do. Wrap her in Your love as she looks toward a fresh start tomorrow. She is a good mom.
