Very important message folks.... we are ending PFL registration on Sunday, August 30 at 11pm. The plan as of this moment is to start the season on September 21. We are reducing the number of regular season games down to 5 and only the top 4 teams in each division will make the playoffs. This is all contingent on the fact that the football season does not get cancelled by the GISA and the GHSA. Again, with the current epidemic we experiencing, this is a fluid situation that may change at any given moment. We will be sure to pass along any new information as soon as it comes down to us. We would like to address a few rumors that have been flying around. We will play out the 2020 season. The season HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED. We did have a child test positive last week and we rescheduled that particular teams game to give them a fourteen day break from being at the ballpark. We did this to be sure no other kids showed signs prior to them returning to the ballpark. This was done to protect our players, coaches, and volunteers. We had two games scheduled for tonight, but there were some scheduling conflicts for the coaches which therefore left us with one T-ball game to be played tonight. We did not see a need to open the ballpark for one game, so we decided to reschedule that game as well. All games will be rescheduled and played unless you hear official word via email or Facebook from Western LL!!!

Registration is now open!! LIMITED spots only!! We have created waiting lists also. We will evaluate adding teams at the end of the week. Softball (ages 7-12) has more room than the baseball side. Register at Western-LL.com

Western LL is happy to announce we will resume play for our 2020 Spring Season! Teams will start practicing June 13th. Once the details are finalized this will be communicated to the parents and coaches.... Western LL will be following the safety guidelines set forth by the CDC, the Bibb County Department of Health, and Little League. Any kids wishing to play baseball or softball should contact Western LL. These kids will be taken on an as needed basis as we have limited spots available. On the baseball side we have spots available for six years old to ten years old and are not currently taking on any more T-ballers. On the softball side we have room to take on a good number of girls ages 6 years old to twelve years old and are not taking on anymore T-ballers. We will not take on any kids after June 13th. We cannot wait to see all of you out there. We are looking forward to a great 2020 season. God Bless!!

Parents, Good evening, I am sure by now most of you have been contacted by your coaches. Earlier this evening Little League Headquarters in Williamsport, Pa. re...commended ALL baseball and softball activity be suspended on a national level. I consulted with our District 5 Administrator and we have decided that Western LL will follow this recommendation. Effective immediately ALL baseball and softball activity including practices and games will cease until April 6th. I will be in communication with our District Administrator over the next few days and will keep everyone posted as information comes available and decisions are made. I want to reassure everyone this a precautionary step that Little League feels is best to protect our kids and our ballpark families. We fully intend to have the 2020 season start shortly after April 6th including pictures, opening day and all other activities. Nothing has been cancelled, it has just been placed on hold for a few weeks. There have been no cases of the coronavirus in our area or associated with our league. Again, we will forward out more information in the coming days. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this and with Little League.
