WHA Updates: OUR OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED: -Every Friday during the month of April (April 3rd, April 10th, April 17th, and April 24th)... -May 1st ENTRY REQUIREMENT: Our staff will take your temperature upon entry into our office. Patients with elevated temperatures will be asked to wait in their car and will be called by a healthcare provider. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING UPDATES: -We are not scheduling well-woman exams pending further recommendations from the CDC. -However, patients with gynecological problems or those in need of prescription refills may contact our office for telehealth appointments and assistance. -We are also postponing all routine mammogram screening pending further recommendations from the CDC. Happy Monday everyone! This is a friendly reminder that we are still offering in-office visits for prenatal care and gynecological problems. IN ADDITION: ... In light of the transmissibility and infectiousness of COVID-19, Women’s Healthcare Associates will now be offering TELEHEALTH services for issues capable of being addressed via video visit. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) encourages the use of telemedicine as an emergency response to COVID-19. Patients will be offered this option by the front desk and phone nurses if the issue is capable of being addressed via video visit. It is up to the discretion of the patient to take this additional safety measure.
