Highway 92 inside the city limits of Woodstock is now open. Thank you for your patience.

Highway 92 Westbound will be shut down in a few minutes for the funeral procession of Officer Burson. It will be closed from Trickum Rd to Woodstock Road.

TRAFFIC DELAYS: Family, friends, and the law enforcement community will gather today for the funeral of Officer Joe Burson at 2p at First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Highway 92 will be shut down beginning at approximately 1:30p for the procession from Lakeside Funeral Home to FBCW. Highway 92 westbound will be closed again following the service (3:00-3:30) while the procession travels from FBCW to Rolling Hills Memorial Gardens on Highway 92 at Woodstock Rd.

Water main break update: Crews are finished and Neese Road is back open.

Water Main Update: If you are needing to get to Hwy 92 by Neese Road from Arnold Mill Road turn onto Neese Road, make a right onto Franklin Road then a left onto Washington Avenue. This will take you around the water main break and put you out onto Neese Road.

Water Main break on Neese Road between Dupree Park and Arnold Mill Road. Please use alternate routes at this time. Unknown time frame of when the water main break will be fixed.

FROM Woodstock Public Safety Foundation Woodstock Firefighter Dave Sargenski is raffling off one of his stunning handcrafted, hardwood American flags to raise funds for fellow firefighter Sgt. Ed St. Romain. Ed was forced to retire recently due to lung disease and was rushed to Vanderbilt University Hospital two weeks ago in respiratory failure. He was placed on a transplant list and received a match in two days. Following the 8-hour surgery and multi-week hospital stay..., Ed and his wife Doris must stay in the immediate area of the hospital for 3 months. Their teenage sons are staying with family near their home in Blue Ridge. This is a huge financial burden and the St. Romains need our help. 100% of proceeds go directly to Ed. Flag will be raffled on March 26, 2021 and winner will be announced on the Woodstock Public Safety Foundation Facebook Page. Retail value begins at $250. SLOW DOWN: Today, officers stopped a driver for going 91 in a 45 on Highway 92. Nearly 10,000 (29%) of the traffic fatalities (nationwide) in 2017 were related to speeding. (transportation.gov) Often times, speeding drivers are just getting to the next red light faster.
