THE THOMSON POLICE DEPARTMENT IS REQUESTING THE PUBLIC’S HELP WITH FINDING AN ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT. POLICE SAY THE MAN ROBBED THE SPEE-DEE FOODS STORE IN THOMSON ON OCTOBER 4TH AROUND 10:00 P.M. THE SUSPECT WAS WEARING A BLACK HOODIE PULLED OVER HIS HEAD WITH A FACE MASK OVER PART OF HIS FACE, BLUE JEANS AND BLACK AND WHITE SHOES. HE SHOWED THE CLERK ON DUTY A PISTOL AND DEMANDED MONEY AND GOT AWAY WITH AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF CASH. THE DRIVER OF A WHITE VEHICLE IS ALSO BEING SOUGHT AS A POSSIBLE WITNESS. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating Louis Johnson, a disabled person who was last seen on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at approximately 12:00 p.m., at his residence located at 40 Parish Road in Warrenton, Warren County, Georgia. The description of Mr. Johnson is as follows: White Male, 65 years of age, 5’6 tall and weighing 125 pounds, with brown balding hair, no clothing description. Mr. Johnson suffers from seizures, is easily confused, and has difficulty walking. He left all his medications at his residence. If you have any information as to the whereabouts of Louis Johnson, you are asked to call 9-1-1 or the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 706-465-3003.

A University of Georgia student was killed Wednesday in a traffic accident in MCDUFFIE County. 26 yo Amy Joy Janvier of Loganville was killed in the 1 pm accident on Washington Road near Huntington Road. Her Body will be sent to The GBI crime For an autopsy Today. She was pronounced dead by MCDUFFIE County Deputy Coroner Paul Johnson on the scene. According to the Georgia state patrol, Janvier’s SUV was traveling south on GA 10 approaching Huntington Road in the right lane. A trash truck was stopped in the right lane, collecting trash from the roadside on GA 10 @ Huntington Road. The front of her SUV struck the rear of the trash truck.

****MISSING JUVENILE***** The McDuffie County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance in locating a missing 16-year old female. Gabriella Faircloth has been missing since May 21, 2020. Gabriella was last seen at Axon's Mini Mart in Dearing, Georgia. She has brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5'0 and weighs approximately 140 pounds.
