We love seeing a younger generation dedicate their time and energy to our beloved house. Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 16435 for spending their Saturday helping with the upkeep and beautification of the grounds of the Wynne-Russell House! We really appreciate them for participating in the spring spruce up by planting new flowers!
Thanks to Teresa Ingalls for spotlighting the Wynne-Russell House in such a fantastic way!! https://youtu.be/ZNUT1RfGx2c
We would like to thank everyone who came out to the Christmas Tour at the house and for the very generous donations we received, the awesome feedback we got as we booked every timeslot we had over the 3-day period. It was great to see old friends, make new ones and share the history of the families that helped shape Lilburn into what it is today!! Just remember, the house is available for rentals for everything from club meetings to weddings!! Go to http://www.lilburnevents.com for details and rental rates. Here's to hoping we will be able to re-open soon for the more involved open houses!

It's time for our annual Holiday Open House and Bake Sale!! Mark your calendar for December 7, 2019 from 11 am to 3 pm ! Stop by and buy some goodies, enter a quilt raffle, learn about the history of Lilburn's oldest home (193 years old!) and have your picture taken with Santa (all ages) who will have gifts to hand out to the children. All proceeds benefit the Wynne-Russell House Preservation fund and we accept cash, credit cards and checks. (see flyer for more details)
Members of the Wynne-Russell Preservation Board will be at the Lilburn Farmer's Market this Friday to promote the Wynne-Russell House and events at the house. We hope you will stop by because we love to talk about the history of the oldest home in the City of Lilburn! And while you're there, be sure to get some yummy home grown fresh produce and other local products. Hope to see you there!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, David and Shannon will not be able to be at the June tour. The open house and tour will still be given, it just won’t be by us so if you’ve always wanted to see the house or give a donation to the preservation fund, please still come!!
Join us this Saturday for the first open house of 2019!!

You can make your tax deductible donation via PayPal or check. Any amount towards the preservation of a home that was vastly important to Diana is welcome You can find the mailing address or PayPal link here http://www.lilburnevents.com/
