You will notice some bottles are white! That means they are meant for consumption. FUN FACT: Did you know Young Living is the ONLY brand to carry a full line of essential oils that is dedicated to consumption only? FAQ: I noticed Lavender is in a purple bottle but that it also comes as a part of the VITALITY line. Are the oils in the bottle different?... Nope! They are the exact same oil. The FDA requires companies to be very clear on usage. Even though you can use Lavender topically and aromatically, it is important that the bottle for consumption is labeled just for that purpose. Imagine a bottle of Vitamin C telling people to eat it, but they can also rub it on their bodies. Doing different labels helps consumers know exactly how to use each product. See more

There is so much talk about Ernie the cat . Here is a response that was posted on a leader’s page that I feel I need to share with you all. I am so thankful we can trust our Young Living oils!!! ... This post below is from a YL group I a friend and fellow Oiler, Diane is in and written by Terri Lubrano Snow You are welcome to copy and paste... Regarding Ernie the cat and the post that is circulating...I'm not approving the 50 posts pending that have nothing to do with our Young Living oils. WE do not use crap oils bought on amazon or from the grocery store. We do not have to worry about our oils being tampered with. I'm sorry for this lady and her cat, however this is a great lesson on why we have seed to seal and a company that backs the quality of our products. They are selling oils on amazon from foreign countries, some even try to impersonate our young living brand with phony product. This is a good lesson in why we don't even use or diffuse crappy oils. Life Science Publishing has an animal reference guide that teaches how to use Young Living Essential Oils for your pets. NOT ALL OILS ARE CREATED EQUALLY. This is a great example of why quality & purity makes a difference. When you see posts or articles like this, rest assured the author is NOT using Young Living. #1 -- YL Eucalyptus is not toxic to cats. Cheap Eucalyptus full of synthetics IS what was toxic to her cat. In fact, it's toxic to humans! #2 -- Always leave your pet an exit to the room where you are diffusing. They will leave the area if they do not like the smell. #3 -- Young Living oils are safe for our animals. I highly recommend the Animal Desk Reference though to educate yourself on how best to apply and use YL oils and supplements for your animals, and which oils to use for what. Cats tend to be a bit finicky and their bodies metabolize differently than a dog and other animals. They break down enzymes differently. Animals and humans have similar needs but they are still not the same. There may be some oils you should not use and the manner of use is certainly different. Education is key! #4 -- Purchasing oils from Amazon or a store gives you no clue to the source of where those oils originated. This is why YL's Seed to Seal Promise is so important. #5 -- This person points out it is stated directly on the bottle Eucalyptus is good for congestion. Perhaps it is but no reputable essential oil company is going to defy FDA regulations and print that information on their bottles. #6 -- I'm unsure of what antibiotics did for this lady's cat. ???? And I probably would have questioned why my pet needed antibiotics for this kind of reaction but in addition to being lethargic, unstable on his feet, and drooling, now his gut flora is wiped out and cat momma just paid for a shot of antibiotics. However, she did learn about her candles being toxic. So there's that! Tag your friends in this post.
