Oh hi Good Sunday Morning I’m just here peaking into the New Year, kinda curious as to what the year will bring, but a bit more interested in how I can cultivate the essence of presence. To appreciate the gifts of the present moment & letting go of any expectations & projections that I may have. Seeing if I can focus on a a few goals without getting too wrapped up in the the end result, and even adapting to any changes along the way. Easier said than done, but it’s worth... bringing awareness to & flirting with the idea of practicing. In my experience, if I practice willingness & earnestness towards a goal without attaching myself too closely to the end result, and allowing changes to occur, the universe usually provides something way beyond my wildest dreams. However, that is not the point either. It’s just to remain open without even trying. Just being & seeing what comes. Let’s get back to BASICS . . We oftentimes see fancy yoga poses BUT how do we even get there? The average person who visits a yoga class for the first time, never comes back for multiple reasons. To me, this is a problem and needs to be addressed! My classes are for all levels, and has something to offer to everyone. - Dya - Ever-Changing Mother Nature Listen... all creeping things- the bell of transience. Issa Dya is a sanskrit word which translates to "what is seeable". It is what the seer witnesses - the whole cosmic process; all forms, matter, energy that encompass the changing and manifested world in which we exist in; everything but the seer itself. Synonyms for Dya are "nature", "measurable", or "illusion". Being able to tell the difference between the seer and the seen is a pretty big deal! When this major realization occurs, we can begin to remove the dark coverings of ignorance in the said middleman. It brings in the light of the seer to illumine our middleman and then we can finally experience our true nature. Believing that the seer (what is within us) and the seen (what is outside of us) are the same thing is the basic conundrum that blocks us from connecting with our true self, or our soul. Enlightenment happens when the middleman is completely purified and clarified of all possible negativity and causes of suffering. These rare beings radiate unconditional love and acceptance. The pure light of the seer shines through their eyes completely. I have the great privilege to see the same, and even new, faces showing up to class each week to embody the experience of yoga. As I watch, through the portals in my head, I have such gratitude & respect to those who continue to show up, roll out their yoga mat, and put in the effort. GREETINGS! I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I HAVE MISSED SEEING EVERYONES FACES AT THE STUDIO! I hope you are all doing well & have been staying healthy during this time! I have been staying pretty busy, even though my intention was to rest & recover during September. You know the saying "Man plans, God laughs...", well yea, that applied to me last month! All good things though! I am very excited to share with you that I will be offering a Monday evening yoga class at the Sautee Nac...oochee Community Hall beginning next Monday.
