This is repost from earlier today: The Young Designers teaches table manners as part of our leadership skills. The first lesson emphasized how to set a table, how to determine which utensils, plates, and glassware to use once seated, and how to tell what the meal is likely to be based on the table setting. Our next lesson will be about making appropriate small talk at a table.

COVID19 stopped us from finishing our garments this year, but hope to see you in May 2021! Take a look at what we were able to complete.

The Young Designers is thankful for so much. After going virtual, we realized that all of our young designers need a sewing machine to keep at home. The donations of generous customers at the Atlanta Sewing Center in Duluth helped us accomplish this.

The Young Designers will start sewing this week- virtually. This means each girl needs her own sewing machine at home. Thank you, Hannah B, for helping us make this a reality.

So what is this? Michelle says it is an apple corer. And so it is! I tried it and it works beautifully. This goes in the "keep" drawer. Thanks, Michelle.

I am taking a short break from sewing. Now I am cleaning out my kitchen drawers. Does anyone know what this thing is?
