Over the summer, our 21CLub@Savannah PARC partnered with United Way of the Coastal Empire and the City of Savannah Government's Golden Age program for a multi-generational community project. Students in the 21CLub paired up for senior citizens for a virtual 3-week long community garden project. They learned how to grow plants and herbs and chronicled their gardens' progress with journals and photos, and learned about how participants from both generations can flourish together! It may be National YOUTH Leadership Month, but we're celebrating Golden Age leadership, too! This 21CLub project nourishes the leadership spirit.
