Election Day in Chamblee - please help save our City! Please vote for candidates that are in favor of walkable sidewalks and preservation to save what's left in Chamblee. We continue to be the "City of Disconnected Sidewalks" with no concrete timeframe to correct the situation in the most densely populated portions of Chamblee. I live on Malone Drive and have witnessed delays of several years for a completed sidewalk on either side of the street. We still have no firm timefra...me and continue to lose access to sidewalks while the apartment buildings and Peachtree Road modifications are underway all at the same time. Currently, residents of my street are trapped in a pedestrian desert due to SLX and Attiva Malone construction on Malone Drive and now with the Peachtree Road construction, there are no viable sidewalks for people with disabilities to access. Please vote for Shaun Lewis for Chamblee City Council and other candidates that will fix this problem not only on our street (soon to be home to about 1,400 residents) as well as the rest of the City and not cave in to new development.
