We would like to wish you all a very safe MLK Holiday as we recognize the anniversary of the day of service celebrating the civil rights leader's life and legacy. All City offices will be closed Monday, January 18, 2021 to commemorate the late Martin Luther King, Jr.

Don't forget to RSVP to join the City of Acworth as we honor the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Festivities will begin on January 18, 2021, at 9:15 a....m. with a unity walk from the Roberts School Community and Education Center to the Acworth Community Center followed by a celebration program with speaker Earnest Davis. The City of Acworth has partnered with the Cobb & Douglas Public Health Department and the Air National Guard to provide free COVID-19 testing at Logan Farm Par...k (4405 Cherokee Street, Acworth, 30101) on January 13 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The self-administered, shallow nasal tests are available to those with or without symptoms. Test results are returned by email in 1 - 3 days. Register at cdphcovid19testing.org. Test site is subject to early closure due to inclement weather or daily max number of tests reached.
