After a brief taste of warm weather, temperatures have dropped again. With outside temperatures so low, small changes in the way you set your thermostat or small steps such as re-caulking and weather-stripping doors and windows can keep warm air in and help save money on your next bill. Use wool dryer balls in the clothes dryer to reduce drying time and static. They can also absorb extra moisture. These are an efficient alternative to dryer sheets, which can create buildup on the dryer’s filter and reduce air circulation. Source: energy.gov
