We are so very excited!!!! The tent we have been waiting for is here and up in our courtyard. The purpose of the tent is to allow face-to-face family visits. We cannot start this process use our tent and court yard until after January 30th, that is when the Life Safety Code will be here to inspect the area for safety. Please remember 30 minute visits once a month, per the 2 designated family members only, ONLY by appointment and if we have not received the designated 2 f...amily members information back, there will no scheduling of these visits. Families you should have gotten a letter, with a form to name the 2 family members, and it should have been returned to the facility. Only those 2 designated family members will be permitted for visits. In addition, the visitors will be screened, must wear a mask, and practice handwashing while here.

Advanced Health & Rehab of Twiggs will join @ahcancal and long term care providers around the country to support the effort to #GetVaccinated for the safety of our residents, staff and communities. You will be getting a letter about the vaccinations and we are requesting your consent for your loved one to get vaccinated. Upon receipt of your letter, if you will sign consent and/or declination as soon as the vaccination is available to us with our pharmacy (Pharamerica and our partner Wal Greens we will begin). Kemp Signs Executive Orders Extending Public Health State of Emergency and Allowing for Nurses to Administer COVID-19 Vaccine Yesterday, Governor Brian Kemp signed Executive Order 11.30.20.01 and Executive Order 11.30.20.02, extending Georgia's Public Health State of Emergency until January 8, 2021, and extending current COV...ID-19 restrictions. As such, centers should continue to follow DPH’s Administrative Order related to visitation, group activities and communal dining. Executive Order 11.30.20.02 also allows for nurses and pharmacists to administer the pending COVID-19 vaccine, including in a drive-thru setting, and permits any nurse or pharmacist to observe patients for the requisite 15 minute window after receiving the vaccine. GHCA continues to work with state partners and other stakeholders on vaccine provision and administration plans for Georgia’s health care workers and long term care residents as the emergency use authorization process continues at the federal level. Both Orders take effect on December 1, 2020 at 12:00 a.m. Executive Order 11.30.20.02 runs through December 15 at 11:59 p.m.

I understand to decrease the risk of exposure to COVID-19, only two (2) appointed visitors may visit, via Window, Door, Face Time using the proper Personal Protective Equipment, hygiene, sanitizing guidelines as recommended, with prior arrangements and appointments. I also understand that one thirty (30) minute visit will be permitted a month. I also understand that if any others than the listed below may present themselves for visits they will be denied. Please know we are doing everything possible using the CDC Guidelines and the Executive Orders to protect your loved ones from COVID-19 exposure and infections.

Advanced H&R of Twiggs is looking for loving, committed CNAs to join our family. We are offering a $500.00 sign on bonus for CNAs, and a referral bonus of $500.00 for CNAs, we pay based on experience. Come to the facility and complete an application, and be interviewed at that time.

Family members, friends and community, we are happy and to announce that we are COVID free. It has been a difficult time for all of us, we appreciate the support, patience, love, concern and prayers. Families, until further notice due to the rise in COVID cases, it has been determined that ONLY window/door visits will be completed to assure that your loved ones are kept as safe as possible. We will post any updates on Social Distance Visitation as soon as the situation changes. We are very sorry to make this announcement. Please protect yourself from COVID by wearing your mask, washing your hands and social distancing.

We want to thank all the staff for implementing the CDC, ACHA, and GCHA COVID guidelines and keeping our residents safe. Thank you for all the handwashing, social distancing and wear of mask, to assure you, your family, your fellow peers and most of all, our residents safe.

Families: To clarify SOCIAL DISTANCING VISITS--we MUST limit the visits to ONLY 2 people at one time during one appointment. In addition, we ask that you limits the visits to once a month. Please note that we have about 100 residents, only 1 visit can be held at a time, and we want all residents and their families to have an opportunity. You must call and schedule an appointment. This is to assure that residents remain without COVID, if the guidelines cannot be adhered to, we will be forced to close the visits. Please help us continue this service.

They always participate and bring much joy and love to the residents. Below is our therapist celebrating National Skilled Nursing Week!!!we couldn’t do it without them.

Oh my! Look who came today!!! Stranded on a desert island and landed at Advanced Health & Rehab. Of course they have been treated for dehydration and malnutrition and in quarantine for the last 14 days. Because of the loving care by the nurses, dietary staff and the great therapy team they are ready to go home.
