Special meeting on Weds night to inform the public. Plan removes current large downtown asphalt parking lots and creates grass/clover’ area. Places a Food Truck park next to current Dog/cat adoption building. Not sure how appetizing food is next to this building? No Info ongoing City costs for upkeep for grassy/clover areas or programing costs to get food trucks to appear. No info on City costs for maintaining new free road from apartment development. No info on how city plans to replace downtown parking removed in this plan. Could Tax Abatements for the new apartments also be in the agreement?

32 new proposed fee-simple Townhomes in downtown AE on Hobbs st. This is on the MARTA property at the northern gateway to the city from Icon Residential. They currently have two ATL townhome developments and many in FL. Pictures are from the Chelsea Westside on Atl beltline.

Here are the two new apartment complexes (487 units) on E College ave patched together in one picture to give a rough idea of placement on E College. Looks like most of the car traffic goes in and out of Hillyer with perhaps 50 on-street parking places for the 12,000 SF of commercial spaces. Currently there is no turn lane in front of Hillyer from E College Ave.
