Please join us in Celebrating the Life of Florence Frimpong, devoted wife,mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, and friend. Florence was known for her beautiful smile, her sense of humor, her devoted for her husband, children and grandchildren and her love for Alabama football (Roll Tide!).

Arlington Memorial Park, located on Mount Vernon Highway, covers 122 acres of rolling hills with mature trees and two lakes. The first burial took place in 1922. Among the notables buried there are Harry Skip Caray Jr., Roberto Goizueta, NHL player Tom Lysiak, Lester Maddox and Millicent Jane Schneider, who was unofficially known as the "Telephone Lady. " She voiced the messages on the phone telling you the number dialed was wrong or was no longer in service.
