The past 4 months have been the most beautiful and most challenging of my life. If you're wondering whats been going on, here it is. I am 1 in 5. 1 in 5 women will experience the most common complication of child birth, Parental Mood Disorders, most specifically in the form of Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. Somehow this disorder is common, yet, the least talked about. I read all the books, I went to all the classes, but nothing prepared me for the Postpartum struggle tha...t so many moms face. I encourage you to check in on the new moms in your life, whether they're a sister, a friend, or an acquaintance, chances are they need to know you're there for them.
