Just a friendly reminder as we head into the holidays to always buckle up! Whether you are on back roads or the main highway. One of the safest choices drivers and passengers can make is to always wear your seatbelt. Our top priority is always the safety of you and your family in every capacity, this includes seatbelt usage. With that being said let's try to raise our percentage next month and beat our record!! #clickitorticket

Bremen Police Department will be having a Female Safety Class this Thursday November 19th at 6pm. This class will be held at the police department. There is no fee for this class. We hope to cover some basic safety tips you can use this holiday season while shopping to help keep you safe. Some examples will include how to be more aware of your surroundings and what to do if you are approached and feel like you are in an unsafe situation. We know this class is short notice but we hope to see you all Thursday.

Bremen Police Department would like to challenge everyone to Click it or ticket! Every year the Governors office of highway safety participates in this event to reinforce seatbelt safety awareness statewide. In 2019 seatbelt usage rate was 90.7%. This safety campaigns runs from November 16th through November 29th. We always encourage everyone to always wear a seatbelt not just during this campaign. Let's stay safe this holiday season and always remember to buckle up!
