I would like to take this time to recognize both my real estate staff Patricia Webb and Ashley Sauls and software vendor MicroPact-Local Courts for the outstanding job in receiving this notification from the Georgia Superior Court Clerk’s Cooperative Authority. Filing, recording and preserving the property records of Bryan County is only one of the many responsibilities I hold as your Bryan County Superior Court Clerk. Congratulations! Your office is one of the 47 countie...s in the state where the Authority has found no indexing errors in the recent reviews the Authority conducted statewide as a part of the Current Indexing Improvement Initiative. This review consisted of a survey of current indexing entries for deeds designed to identify areas of emphasis for individual improvement and general training purposes. A description of the scope of the entire Initiative is found below. The results for your office is a very positive indicator that you and your staff are successfully following the Indexing Standards in processing your Deed Docket real estate instruments. While not insuring that your records are totally error free, the results are reassuring that your office is performing at a high accuracy level. The Authority will continue with additional efforts and new tools to assist all clerks with their indexing efforts. I am happy to announce that as of June 10, 2020 all Bryan County deeds from 1971 to the present are now available online through the Georgia Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Association aka GSCCCA. This has been one of the projects on the priority list and with many thanks to both Micropact/Tyler Technology and GSCCCA Bryan County has a 49 year search available online! This project is still underway as our vendor is still currently indexing the prior years. My goal is to have ALL Bryan County deeds indexed and imaged and available online both locally and statewide. I appreciate the trust you have placed in me to maintain these important records of the county!

Honorable Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has extended the judicial emergency order till June 12, 2020. Courts are mailing out cancellation notices now if you were scheduled for court during this time. If you have an attorney please make contact with them as well to check any court appearances. If you should need anything from our office please call us first. We are handling filings , etc by phone calls, emails or efiling. Main office number is 912-653-3872.
